Luxury Homes for Sale
A luxury home has different meanings for various individuals. For one, it might be the Great Home of His Lordship in the British countryside or a Palazzo on the Brenta Canal, in the Veneto, designed by Andrea Palladio. It might be a Neo Classical 1920's estate in The Hamptons on Long Island, a Palm Beach Mansion, an old estate on Maryland's Eastern Shore or Virginia's Hunt Country, an in-town manor in Georgetown of Washington D.C., a grand home in New Orleans Garden District, a matinee idol home in Bel Air, or a San Francisco painted lady, yet at Teamworks Real Estate, we know LUXURY is in the “eye of the beholder.”

Our personal view is that luxury in not merely measured by square footage, opulence, or an astronomical price tag. A luxury home can be a one bedroom condominium with a superb view and location or reproduction townhouse, a detached "jewel box" home in a great old neighborhood, or a weekend and holiday getaway at the beach, on the Chesapeake or its tributaries, in the country or mountains. While we have sold many "trophy" properties, our focus is, and always has been that which is best for our clients and keeping their interpretation of luxury at the forefront of a property search. We always like to ask a new client what is really important to them, what their passions are, what recreation and entertainment activities rank highly, what type of environment would they see if they close their eyes and imagine (within the realms of reality realty), and what their commuting, business travel, personal travel and related time tolerances are in relation to a luxurious home.
Your time is as precious to you as ours is to us, and it is our objective to use it wisely, efficiently and effectively. Over the years, we have received calls both from folks who are relocating to our area or friends, and/or business associates of people relocating, and they introduce themselves by venting frustrations as they have become exasperated in their search for the right home. After listening and reassuring that the right home exists, we conduct an interview, either in person by phone or email. Prioritizing a client's needs, hopes, dreams and wants, allows us to narrow the focus and ultimately locate that one property which speaks "luxury." In many cases, after a tour is complete, they have purchased the first or second home presented. When marketing luxury homes, we concentrate not only on the likely buyers, but also on the real estate professionals with whom we cooperate.
